City Balcony

This Balcony was a DIY project. The metal was hard to walk-on barefoot, so I went to Ikea and picked up outdoor flooring panels. I can’t remember how many packs I bought but It may have been four. I had my dad cut them down so they would fit the space. The bench was a custom piece my dad and I made. I wanted something that felt like a chaise but also could comfortably fit two people. I had the edges rounded so it was easier to move around and stained it black. The outdoor cushions I found at Home Goods. By chance, they fit so perfectly that they looked custom-made for the furniture. The side table I acquired at target in the outdoor section. It was a great piece it didn’t leave watermarks after it rained and it was heavy enough in the Detroit wind that it stayed in place.
