Gateaux Patisserie Expansion

Gateaux Patisserie’s new shop had to be everything the owners envisioned. Lush and elegant with warm relaxed accents. They wanted their customers to have an atmosphere in which they could work, and relax. But also feel transported to somewhere whimsical and lived in.

Having worked with the owners on various projects before, It was necessary to communicate the sister’s ideas physically versus digitally. They knew what they wanted but it was the tactile experience that they needed during the planning stages. Each piece is carefully selected. As owners of a successful business already they did not need my help with how they wanted their arrangement within the shop. But it was my job to curate and edit their vision.
